Stella Eglinton

Stella is a visual artist who completed foundational training with Art Academy East before exploring a wide variety of media, revelling in the unique effects and unexpected processes each introduces. She produces work in oils, watercolours and textiles. However, soft pastels remain her grounding anchor and true creative comfort zone.

Driven by an open-ended curiosity, her subject matter is wide-ranging, sparked by anything that invites deeper visual investigation. Ultimately, her work aims to recreate life—moving fluidly between direct reflections, impressionistic depictions, and personal interpretations. Regardless of the material or approach, her goal is to craft images that resonate deeply, creating a harmonious and pleasing connection between the brain and the eye.

She enjoys using processes that she hasn’t tried before to suggest new ways of working and to explore her experience of the world.

Stella is a keen member of the Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle and has exhibited with them as well as selling art privately.
