Sue is a Norfolk based artist and has only recently started exhibiting her work. She has had no formal art training but is largely self taught. Although she has painted occasionally for many years, she only began painting regularly after her retirement.
Having begun her painting life using watercolours, Sue now prefers the vibrancy and texture of oils, although she does still occasionally paint in both watercolour and acrylic. She particularly enjoys painting dramatic skies and outdoor scenes, notably of Norfolk and Derbyshire.
Sue is a new member of the Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle and hopes to exhibit more regularly in the future. She recently had success selling a number of her paintings as part of the South Yare Art Trail.
